Hotel Sugar Beach is proud to offer the Balance Yoga Retreat, a week of relaxation, rejuvenation, and deep, restorative breaths. Our serene secluded cove is the ideal place to immerse yourself in your practice.

Join us February 28 through March 6 for this picture perfect retreat. We will offer daily yoga classes, meditation, chakra work, and discussion topics relating to balance in our lives, as well as breath, alignment, love, attitude, nourishment, chakras and energy. No previous yoga experience is required – all are welcome!

We have three experienced yoga teachers:

JOLENE WRIGHT
Life is Simple. Life is hard. Let’s embrace it! As a combat veteran, adventurer, and lifetime student, Jolene learned to use yoga as a tool in her life to slow down, settle into the mind body and soul, and connect all of this with the breath. Jolene’s classes guide students to find flexibility, strength, balance, and breath. Everyone has days that can throw them off balance. If we practice a challenging yoga it can help ground us, motivate us, or even remind us to laugh a little.

ASHLEY DAVIS
Yoga’s transformative power inspires Ashley through mind, body and soul, and she believes it should be nurtured. Focusing on body awareness, a steady connection to breath and alignment, Ashley strives to bring fun and love into her uplifting classes.

Ashley is also a surf instructor, an avid slackliner, and enjoys acro yoga, hiking and skydiving. She is a freelance music, food and travel blogger, and professional voice over artist. As a former radio personality, where she earned her nickname Bad Ash, Ashley acquired and extensive music library, which she uses to create eclectic playlists that add to the energy of her classes. JOANNE LEBLANC
As yoga’s gifts of strengthening, centering and healing began to affect her deeply, Joanne came to realize that teaching Hatha, Vinyasa flow, prenatal, gentle and restorative yoga at various levels is her passion. Joanne’s enthusiasm in guiding students to explore connections and awareness of body and breath is evident in her teaching.

In addition to her fervent yoga style, Joanne holds a B.A.in Psychology and has been working in the children’s mental health field for 16 years.

      Yoga instructors Jolene Wright, Ashley Davis and Joanne Leblanc come together in this unique BALANCE Yoga Retreat in beautiful Sugar Beach, Costa Rica. The Sugar Beach Resort is a small boutique hotel. 28 comfortable guest rooms, suites and beach houses are spread among 24 acres of beachfront property. The variety accommodates all persons seeking an intimate, peaceful experience. Only steps from the warm Pacific water on Playa Pan de Azúcar you can seek comfort and privacy in any of the rooms. The resort shares the dry forest with monkeys, iguanas, coatis, raccoons, and the beauty and abundance of Costa Rica’s Natural World.
