There are a few things you can count on at Sugar Beach. The restaurant has an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean. We will never add windows or move!

Six days a week, you will find Victor here and he will remember you. He may even remember that you like cracked pepper on your salad with extra dressing on the side – something you ordered two years ago during your stay.

Last, but not least, we do serve outstanding Guaro Sours & Margaritas, which you can get at a 50% discount every Thurs, Friday & Saturday during our happy hour.

New this March, we are offering dinner specials prepared by Chef Gilad Chudler! Having recently returned to Costa Rica, Chef Gilad will be cooking at Sugar Beach every weekend in March. You will be able to enjoy Gilad’s weekly specials that emphasize food made from scratch using fresh, local ingredients. Gilad’s creations are not only delicious, but also healthy.

This weekend on March 14, Gilad’s menu features:

  • Coffee Rubbed Braised Pork Ribs with BBQ Sauce
  • Patatas Bravas with Spicy Tomato Sauce and Garlic Mayo
  • Crema de Pejibaye with Coconut Milk, Sour Cream, and Cilantro Garnish
  • Spicy Chorizo with Red Wine Vinegar and Honey Reduction Sauce
  • Jumbo Shrimp Risotto with Broccoli, Mushrooms and White Wine
