Sustainable efforts

Tree Planting

The hotel participates in local reforestation projects, including local schoolchildren in our tree-planting efforts to raise awareness. Our guests hosting weddings or events at Hotel Sugar Beach can also get involved by offering a tree for each guest who has traveled to Costa Rica. Small trees indigenous to the dry tropical forest are purchased from a local nursery and planted as a group in an appropriate area.
