For those who wish for activities in the hotel's immediate vicinity, we can arrange a tour with the Outriggers, large ocean-going canoes that can accommodate a group of people to explore the surrounding coastline. An experienced crew will lead you on a half-hour ocean ride to a nearby deserted beach with a reef where you can snorkel, relax and explore your surroundings.

Our front desk also offers boogie board and snorkeling gear rentals.

Scuba Diving

There are a variety of diving options available for those who want to experience the magic of the underwater world. Resort dives are available for uncertified divers who wish to try scuba diving, as well as certification courses, and a range of excellent dive locations for experienced divers.

Sailing/Catamaran Tours

Spend a half-day sailing the coastline, or enjoy the glorious spectacle of the sun sinking into the Pacific ocean. There are several sailboat and catamaran tours leaving from the nearby town of Flamingo, most offering food, drink and snorkeling along remote, pristine beaches.

Inshore & Deep Sea Fishing Charters

Cast a leisurely reel into coastal waters, or head to deeper waters to wrestle some of the bigger sportfish in Costa Rica's Pacific, including marlin, sailfish and roosterfish. Boat captain & crew, refreshments & equipment are included. We are happy to prepare your day's catch in the restaurant for a small fee.

Horseback Riding

Ride with a local sabanero and see Guanacaste at its most authentic. Explore mountain and beach trails on horseback and gain a taste of the traditional life.
